It's a Hawkeye Tradition! You will Wave at the Children's Hospital for the first time as an official Hawkeye and learn the Iowa Fight Song and some of the traditions that make Iowa such a special place all from the field of Historic Kinnick Stadium. This is where you will feel you have truly joined the Hawkeye family. Immediately following the program, take the rare opportunity to stay on the field and play games, try to kick a field goal, and take many photos. This is a dream come true for Hawkeye football fans.

Continue the party on the field after Kickoff at Kinnick while enjoying free food, carnival games, intramural sports, giveaways, and tons of Hawkeye entertainment. There will also be an exciting FIREWORKS show over the field! It’s here, the party we’ve waited for!
