The UI DeGowin Blood Center, located in the university campus medical center (elevator B, floor 2),  will be open for whole blood and platelet appointments.  You can click to schedule an appointment here, or call: 319-356-2058 to make an appointment. The UI DeGowin Blood Center is a hospital-based blood center. All blood collected is used locally to help patients at the UI Health Care and UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
