Take a short walk to Iowa City's lively Farmers Market! Meet at the downtown-facing steps (East side) of the Old Capitol at either 8:30 am or 9:30 am. Our knowledgeable team from the Office of Sustainability and the Environment will guide you to the market, where you will discover the local food scene. Enjoy the diverse offerings of delicious food, captivating sights, enticing smells, and live music. To enhance your experience, UI Student Government will provide students with a $3 voucher to use at the market. Please note, participation is limited to the first 200 students. Voucher cannot be used to purchase alcohol. Remember to bring your student ID.
