First year students living off-campus and new transfer students are invited to kick off the year with a welcome tailgate hosted by Student Care & Assistance (a unit within the Dean of Students team) and Academic Support & Retention! Meet other new students living off campus, as well as transfer students, and start making essential connections. At the Tailgate, you will interact with resources and services available, have an opportunity to win prizes, and connect with each other over great (free) food! At the end of the event, On Iowa! Leaders will join to walk over together to Kickoff at Kinnick and the Kickoff After Party.
