This touching ceremony on the beautiful Pentacrest is your official commitment to being a successful Hawkeye. New students will be officially welcomed by UI President Barbara J. Wilson, faculty, staff, and the student Convocation speaker.

Immediately following Convocation, we will pose for the world's largest Block I (at least as far as we know) with other new students. Remember to wear your GOLD IOWA shirt given to you at On Iowa! check-in. We will then walk to the President's Block Party for dinner and entertainment.
