Come experience the new UI Challenge Course located at the Hawkeye Recreation Fields! Featuring 8 unique ground-based elements and a double-decker aerial adventure course with 21 exciting high elements, participants will have the chance to challenge themselves, meet other students, and reach new heights! Most elements are inherently physical, yet do not require a person to be physically fit in order to participate. In case of inclement weather, this event will be canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Instruction, equipment, and transportation are provided. Students must be at least 18 years old and will need to complete a waiver prior to participating. You must register in advance to participate and no walk-ups are allowed.

Students need to bring/wear:
• Closed toe shoes (no flip-flops, sandals, crocs, etc.)
• Activity/weather appropriate clothing (something easy to move around in & suitable for the weather)
• Sunscreen
• Water bottle

This event will give students a taste of what the UI Challenge Course has to offer. For a more in-depth experience, students can enroll in LLS:1140 – Challenge Course: Team Building (1 s.h.) and receive academic credit!
